Since our founding in Clearwater, the Y has grown from its first facility in 1965 to its newest in Citrus County. At the time it opened, the Clearwater YMCA was one of the largest YMCAs in the country. Today, we have seven locations serving kids and families in Citrus, Hernando, Pasco and Pinellas counties. Additionally, we proudly serve children with our School Age Program in over 50 school sites throughout these counties.
Charity Navigator, the nation's largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities, has awarded the YMCA of the Suncoast the coveted 4-star rating. The award for the Y demonstrates our organization’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Learn more.
